ABOUT PETER B. GUTHRIE

My interest in computers started when my Father’s Toshiba laptop’s screen began to flicker and eventually became inoperable. It fascinated me at a young age when the computer I presumed to be useless was plugged into a display and found a new lease on life. Since then I have been fascinated by the software and hardware that we so often think of as commodity devices. Today, I am a Full Stack Developer with an ever-growing list of tools and skills prepared for your project! Please feel free to scroll down and look at my Mini Projects and Applications to see how I could be an asset to your team.

EXPERIENCE

Experience

I started in the work program cutting grass and digging holes. Three years later, I was acting as a liaison between the Academics department, Student Life, and the individual student attending PCC. My RA role requires mediating and resolving conflicts, preparing meeting agendas, public speaking, and working to create an environment suited to the many types of people that live in my hall. It’s a wonderful challenge to help foster a hall that crosses the finish line together. It is my personal goal to take these personal learnings and use them with the technical skills I have developed. This includes the continuous deployment of a site (What you are looking at now) using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap . The application projects listed above demonstrate an understanding of ASP .net using C# , with a Code First Database deployed to Azure. If this sounds like a mindset and toolset you would like on your team, I welcome any conversation about development opportunities!
